the Purpose of the game:

• Navigate through a complex maze and find the way out.

Rules:

• The player controls a character in the center of the maze.
• The goal is to find the exit from the maze using different abilities and means.
• You can use any creative medium you like, including:
  • Movement: any type of movement you want - running, jumping, climbing, swimming and more.
  • Time: Using time in a special way, like slowing down or speeding up, or elements that affect the speed of the game or doors that open and close or anything.
  • Mirrors: Using mirrors to confuse enemies or solve puzzles.
  • Collecting objects: finding special objects that will help you progress through the maze.
  • Doors: Opening and closing doors to open new paths.
  • Obstacles: solving puzzles and various logical obstacles.
  • Enemies: Defending against enemies that roam the maze.

Basically anything you want! These are just ideas for you.

Creative Ideas:

• A unique and fascinating world design based on concept art.
• Creating challenging and original puzzles that require creative thinking.
• Combining special elements such as teleportation, shapeshifting and more.
• Creating a compelling backstory that drives the player forward.
• Combining music and fascinating sound effects.

Inspiration sources if you want - of course you are not limited in searches, this is for you!:

• Other games of the maze type, such as Portal, The Witness, Super Mario Odyssey and more.
• Movies and books dealing with dungeons, such as "The Cube", "Alice in Wonderland" and more.
• Art and culture containing elements of dungeons.

Use of ready-made plugins/packages:

You can use any plug-in/package or anything ready-made one way or another you want, you will just have to update what you used ready-made whether it is a package from the marketplace or a download from the Internet or anything of this kind or another in the submission of the game.

A video of the game must be sent by 4/29/2024 at 4:00 p.m.

So first of all how does it work -

on Tuesday 4/23/2024
You will have a week to develop a game around the concept and the instructions I will post
You will have to send a video of the project by 4/29/2024 4:00 PM
After that, voting will take place and the winning project will be announced.

How do you register for the competition?

In total, answer I am participating or answer your name and the name of the partner with whom you are participating together if you work as a couple.

The prize –

If competing as a couple - or 300 shekels to distribute 150 to each of the team.
Or 2 private lessons - each of the team gets 1 lesson or they can additionally get 2 private lessons but it will be shared between them.
And if you compete alone - NIS 150 or a private lesson

The main goal of the competition is not the prize of course
These are learning to withstand stressful moments
get to know other students
learn to work in a team
And most importantly have fun!
Sometimes when we have a day or two to develop something
The best ideas come to mind and play among the famous today their concept was created in such competitions!

The competition will take place either alone or in pairs, so it's time to find a partner for those who want!
